Breede River Rafting Trip

  • Up the Creek
    Your accommodation at Up the Creek on the Breede River is in A-frame chalets. For the adventurous, 3 ox-wagons can also be used for accommodation.
  • Around the Bend Nestled amongst trees on the banks of the Breede River, Round the Bend is a favorite for those wanting a total getaway from city life. You are accommodated in cozy thatched A-frame, en-suite chalets in a magnificent riverside setting.

The accommodation at the camps includes comfortable beds with duvets and linen. The camps have both undercover and outdoor recreation areas with fireplaces. DSTV is also available.

Conference facilities are also available and we can accommodate 6 - 300 guests.

Orange River Rafting Experience

Location: Noordoewer, Richtersveld area - Namibia, approx. 125km North of Springbok, 680km from Cape Town. We supply all canoeing equipment, i.e. 2 man Mohawk canoes, paddles and life jackets. Experienced guides will accompany you providing catering, safety and assistance. All catering on the Orange River is handled by our guides and included in the overall price are breakfasts, lunches and suppers, which are all five star meals. Liquor and soft drinks are however not included in the package. Glass bottles are not allowed on the Orange River for conservation reasons, so please decant into plastic bottles or bring cans. We also supply buckets to keep all your clothes, cameras etc. dry and provide cooler boxes for drinks.

The accommodation ranges from African Style Cabanas and Luxury tents over looking the Orange River to standard tented accommodation and camping in the most awesome setting on the Orange River.


Tugela River Rafting Experience

Bush Camp and Tented Lodge near Weenen. Established in 1984, the stone and tented camp is tucked away on the banks of the mighty Tugela River, in the heart of the Thukela Biosphere reserve in KwaZulu Natal.

Whitewater rafting, abseiling, 4X4 routes and horse rides. For those not interested in adventure activities, the camp is ideally suited for guided walks, game viewing, birding, fishing or merely sitting in the shade of a thorn tree with a good book. Classic campfire cuisine!

Accommodation is as follows:

  • 9 double tents en suite
  • 1 free standing tent dormitory type accommodation for 20 people sharing
  • 2 free standing tents suitable for children
  • Common ablutions consist of 2 showers & 2 toilets

White Water Rafting

The major summer activity is white-water rafting, and the most exciting time to do this is between November and May.

The 30km stretch of river known as the canyon provides some of the most thrilling white water in the country.

Doring River Rafting Experience:

Its exciting...stimulating...and an adventure youll never forget. The perfect venue for a safe, exhilarating weekend of white-water rafting. We run the river using 2-man inflatable rafts, which are ideally suited to tackling grade 3 rapids. The rafting season is dependent on sufficient winter rainfall and usually runs from mid-June to mid-September.

This heart stopping adventure is on one of South Africa"s most exciting rivers. Being a mere 3 hours from Cape Town (approximately 280 km), the Doring River provides an exciting weekend getaway within comfortable driving distance.

Zambezi River Rafting Experience

The Zambezi Waterfront situated approximately four kilometres upstream from the Victoria Falls; just opposite Siloka Island is a new and exciting development.

Within the renowned Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park and just 15 kilometers upstream from the spectacular Victoria Falls lies the secluded Thorntree River Lodge.
