A facilitated weekend of interactive fun and adventure. No play station, no DSTV, no golf games…just you and junior. Its all about doing what Dads and Lads should be doing most weekends but for some reason we dont! We pack in river rafting, the obstacle challenge, archery, cooking, problem solving, communication exercises, and a little "deeper" stuff to help ensure the relationship is strengthened. At the end of the week-end both father and son will have a new respect for each other and a greater commitment to the relationship.
Ideal for a class of lads of same age.
The Tom Sawyer Camp
Between 5-8 days of doing what kids thrive on; getting dirty, being outdoors and living life to the fullest. Making catties (no shooting wildlife), building bridges, raft building, wall climbing, river rafting, obstacle challenges, trip to the Dome, adventure racing, log fires, fun and cooking. Every day is just a new adventure and a chance to learn something new and exciting. Each child is asked to keep a scrap book and record their experience to show mum and dad upon their return. This camp is planned around school holidays.
The Itineraries
Each itinerary is planned with the teachers and parents in advance, but can include many challenges each day. The challenges are designed to bring out team understanding as well as help individuals find their role and personality within a team.
